Why do you use so much color?
Color is the electricity of the brain!
Donna Cercone has worked extensively with color in all her classroom teaching and in the process of teaching music. Through her studies and experimentation, she has found that color activates different portions of the brain.
Even science has proven that all black and white in learning can make the learning more difficult, make the student bored or not as able to see things easily.
Where does Cercone use color?
- All of our Theory books are done in Color.
- We literally color our music by chords. Results? It is far easier to learn and most interesting to look at.
- Basically we use color everywhere, even in designing the studio, because certain decor colors make learning easier.
If we place the same song side by side, one is black and white and the other is colored, everyone we have ever tested wants to look at the colored music.
The black and white music looks much harder to learn.
All one needs to do is to think of watching TV on black and white or color in order to understand this.
We have also helped students find their colors for learning in school whether it is in reading or math or just home work in general.
Results:
- Reading is easier and more understandable.
- Math is easier and the student gets higher grades.
- Homework is always done easier and faster. And grades are higher in school.
Homework is always done easier and faster. And grades are higher in school.
